PresidentDonald Trump has addressed a recent AI-generated image of himself that he posted, which seemingly depicted him as Jesus, and he said he didn’t realize that’s what people thought was depicted.
“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor. And had to do with the Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker, which we support,” Trump, 79, told reporters while he accepted a McDonald’s delivery from DoorDash on Monday, April 13.
“Only the fake news could come up with that one,” he added. “I just heard about it. It’s supposed to be me as a doctor, making people better. And I do make people better. I make people a lot better.”

The since-deleted photo showed the former reality star in white robes with red cloth draped around his neck. His hand was placed on the forehead of a sick man in a hospital bed with light flaring out from his palm. Trump was surrounded by a nurse and military figures and behind him, glowing, angelic figures or soldiers appeared in the sky.
The picture quickly went viral, and it angered several people online.
“He’s really trying to see how deep into Hell he can go,” one X user wrote in response to the shared photo.
Another added, “It’s so embarrassing being American these days.”
However, some claimed that the president was just “having a laugh.”
“He is trolling people by making them think he thinks he is a messiah,” a supporter chimed in and said.

The Apprentice alum was receiving a delivery from a DoorDasher named Sharon Simmons, known as a “DoorDash Grandma,” when he was asked about the photo.
He then asked Simmons’ opinion on men playing in women’s sports.
“I really don’t have an opinion on that,” Simmons replied. “I’m here about no tax on tips.”
