Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison isn’t happy about the public drama surrounding son Corey Harrison’s hospitalization and subsequent request for help with his medical bills.
“Corey and I will work this out by talking to each other and not the media,” Rick told TMZ on Wednesday, March 11. “We appreciate everyone’s support and concern but feel it is in the best interest of all to concentrate on Corey’s recovery at this time.”
Rick’s remarks come after a GoFundMe was launched in Corey’s honor to raise money in order to pay off his medical debt. The former reality star was hit with a massive bill after a scary motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico.

“In February, just days before his father Rick’s wedding, Corey was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico. It wasn’t just a crash; it was devastating,” the fundraiser description explained.
Corey reportedly suffered 11 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a severe concussion and internal bleeding. As bills added up, Corey decided to check himself out of the hospital against medical advice.
While the GoFundMe aimed to raise $100,000, Rick told TMZ he “paid all of Corey’s medical bills long before [Corey] put the GoFundMe out,” adding “there is no repayment schedule in place.”
