Kim Kardashian is under fire once again for her parenting choices, but this time it involves her youngest daughter, Chicago.
The mother of four was photographed with three of her children on a dinner date on Monday, November 17. In photos obtained by DailyMail, Chicago, 7, can be seen wearing dark mauve lipstick for the family outing.
This is not the first time the All’s Fair star has let her young daughters wear a bold lip, however. Back in 2018, North West, then 5, rocked a bold red lip in the family’s annual holiday card.
“I thought Kanye [West] didn’t like his kids to wear make up – his daughter’s lipstick couldn’t get any redder,” one fan commented on the Skims founder’s Instagram at the time.
“Parenting is a hard job, and balancing what is good versus what kids want is the hardest part. Just because a kid wants it, doesn’t mean parents have to say yes,” another commented.

It seemed the Kardashians star had a change of heart as she later told Bustle, “Would I do that now? Probably not.”
“My littlest’s too little and I don’t let her [wear makeup],” she told the outlet in January 2024.
Since then, the reality star has found herself embroiled in several controversies revolving letting North embrace her bold personal style, which includes a corset top, blue hair and, most recently, dermal piercings.
“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” Kardashian told Alex Cooper during an appearance on her “Call Her Daddy” podcast in October. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her.”
