Joe Rogan Backs Reality TV Star Spencer Pratt’s Los Angeles Mayoral Bid: ‘I’d Vote for You’
Joe Rogan endorses Spencer Pratt for Los Angeles mayor. The Hills star explains his run was inspired by the 2025 LA wildfires and alleged government negligence.
The former reality TV star, 42, appeared on the Thursday, April 15, episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and the former Fear Factor host, 58, declared, “Listen, man, I’m voting for you. I can’t vote for you, but I’m rooting for you.”
“I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, no question whatsoever, I would vote for you,” Rogan, who is currently a Texas resident, added.
During the episode, The Hills alum explained he initially “never wanted to run for any political office or have anything to do with politicians,” but had a change of heart after the devastating L.A. wildfires in January 2025.

“What happened was after spending a year uncovering how my house and my parents’ house burned down, and my neighbors burned alive, and 7,000 houses burned, and then I realized there’s a cover-up going on, all the negligence, and I keep posting about it, and I have all the facts, I have all the whistleblowers, I have all the evidence,” Pratt remarked.
“And I see that nobody is stepping up to run against the mayor that’s responsible for this disaster and so many other disasters,” he added.

Pratt said he eventually realized he wanted to take action.
“I got a congressional investigation, I went to Washington, I met with everyone possible that I could do as just a citizen,” Pratt shared. “And I was like, ‘OK, well, game on now. I’m going to go into your headquarters and just take your job and then remove all these toxic entities that are destroying our way of life in Los Angeles.’”
The 2026 L.A. Mayoral race will take place on June 2.
