Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence reveals she suffered postpartum depression after giving birth to her second child — and it helped in tackling her role in her new movie, Die My Love.
The actress, 35, says she drew on the experience to play her character, who struggles with motherhood, in the black comedy-drama.
“I didn’t really end up having really bad postpartum [anxiety] until my second [baby]. I think that just added another layer,” Jennifer told People, who has son Louie and older boy Cy, 3, with husband Cooke Maroney, 41.

She told Vogue: “I remember walking with one of my best friends at, like, nine months, and being like, ‘Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat. But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?’ ”
