Gavin Newsom‘s 9-year-old son, Dutch, wanted to speak with President Donald Trump himself.
The California governor, 58, appeared as a guest on the Sunday, December 7 episode of the Jack Cocchiarella Show. At the end of the episode, host Jack Cocchiarella asked the politician, “What was the last thing Trump said to you?” to which Newsom responded, “Use this number any time.”
“I have his cell phone. We can call him now, if you want,” Newsom joked. “It alarms me to think that almost certainly he would answer the phone.”
While Cocchiarella, 23, said he was “fully on board” with giving the commander in chief, 79, a ring, Newsom insisted, “Yeah, no, I can’t do that.”

The former mayor of San Francisco — who shares kids Montana, 16, Hunter, 14, Brooklynn, 12, and Dutch with wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom — then revealed he actually had a phone call incident recently when his children were going through his contacts.
“My kids, by the way, tried to do that the other day, and they weren’t even kidding around,” he shared. “They were looking for Mr. Beast’s number, which, strangely, I had. They got so excited, and they’re just like, ‘Do you have Trump’s number?’ ”
“I’m like, ‘Oh God.’ And I literally find — he’s 9 years old — and he was literally pushing,” Newsom recounted. “There’s a missed phone call to Trump from Dutch, my little guy.”
