Former ‘GMA3’ Hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Engaged 3 Years After Affair Rumors Led to Their Dismissal

It’s official! T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are engaged.

“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach, 52, said during the Tuesday, October 14, episode of the Amy & TJ podcast. “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.”

While the couple didn’t reveal the exact date that Holmes, 48, popped the question, they did say that Robach had been wearing her engagement ring in public for weeks.

“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, just waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach explained.

Holmes chimed in and added, “We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!”

Robach and Holmes made headlines in 2022 when photographs of them surfaced showing them looking like cozier than average colleagues, despite both being married to their now-ex-spouses at the time.

In pictures shared by the Daily Mail, Holmes could be seen placing his hand on Robach’s backside while she bent over to look for something inside a car.

Even though they consistently denied having an affair, both were fired from GMA3 after an internal investigation. In December 2023, Robach addressed their relationship and told their podcast listeners, “We lost the jobs we love because we love each other.”
