T.J. Holmes Talks Wanting to Start a Family With Amy Robach 3 Years After Their Affair Was Exposed

Former GMA hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been going strong since their relationship drama broke the internet in 2022. Now, it appears Holmes is ready to take the next step.

“I need to write in to my own damn column to get some advice about what to do when the person you’re with — who is maybe at an advanced baby-making age — laughs every time you bring up the possibility of kids,” Holmes, 48, joked during the Monday, September 8, episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast.

“The response is the one you all just heard,” he added. “She laughs at me. She’s laughing at me.”

According to Robach, 52, her humor was the result of being “out of the baby making business” since battling cancer in 2013.

“That was devastating to hear. I can laugh now because that ship has sailed so long ago,” she said. “So that’s why I do chuckle, because yes, that was a painful thing to hear at 40. But I have come to peace with it and am very happy to have had two children.”

Holmes — who shares children Brianna and Jaiden with first wife Amy Ferson, and daughter Sabine with ex Marilee Fiebig — also floated the idea of adoption, explaining that he “can’t help but want to create [their] own unit.”

Amy also has two children of her own, daughters Ava and Annalise, whom she shares with first husband Tim McIntosh.
