Country duo Big & Rich are facing major backlash after their recent show in Las Vegas, with many calling the band’s behavior “concerning.”
During the duo’s appearance at the Day of Gratitude concert on Saturday, June 6, Big Kenny, 62, and John Rich, 52, invited a group of little girls on stage to help sing their biggest hit, “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy).”
Big & Rich took to the stage at Allegiant Stadium in front of a small crowd of fans with a group of seven children to sing the explicit 2004 hit.
“John Rich of Big & Rich asked one of these girls what she [thought] the song was about. She said horses. And then this happened. Gross,” one concertgoer shared alongside a clip from the show, calling the situation “cringy AF.”
The comments section was unanimous with one critic writing, “Cringe is not the right word.”
“That’s so concerning actually,” another wrote.

“Those tens of people must’ve been upset,” a third added, mocking the lackluster crowd.
Others still called the behavior “weird,” “gross” and “shameful.”
The proud MAGA supporters, who recently volunteered to perform at PresidentDonald Trump‘s Freedom 250 Fair after a number of acts dropped out, received a special appointment by Trump days after their inappropriate behavior with little girls.
“President Trump has afforded me the great honor to serve in his administration as the ‘Special Envoy for American Landowners,'” Rich shared via X on Monday, June 8. “In this role, I look forward to representing and advocating for landowners’ rights against any entity that chooses to harass or intimidate them in an effort to achieve goals contrary to those of the President. I look forward to defending our farmers and ranchers.”
