Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein has worked alongside many Hollywood heavyweights — but nothing could prepare him for the mayhem that followed Jennifer Lopez onto set.
The actor, 45, recently teamed up with Lopez, 56, for Office Romance, their upcoming Netflix-produced romcom.
Filming, whenever J.Lo was on set, was “a nightmare,” he told USAToday.
“The shoot was a dream,” he clarified of making the flick. But the chaos caused by the paparazzi — who were in hot pursuit of Lopez— was not.

“The two days we filmed outside were, forget it, just because of paparazzi everywhere,” he explained. “It was a nightmare.”
“I thought, ‘If [Lopez and I] make another film together, I’m going to keep all the scenes indoors,” he continued. “There will be no exterior shots.”
Goldstein isn’t the only actor who has spoken out about what it was like working with the “I’m Real” singer. When asked to describe Lopez, actor Luis Guzmán — who worked with her on the 1998 film Out of Sight, dismissed her as just “OK” during his recent Hot Ones appearance.
As Globe recently reported, the shade from Lopez’s costars comes as the songstress is still reeling from her failed marriage to Ben Affleck, and feeling the sting of rejection.
“Six years ago, when she was getting all that praise for Hustlers, she felt like the days of being looked down on by her peers were over,” said a source.
And now? Lopez “feels more like an outsider than ever.”
