Bobby Flay Gushes Over Girlfriend Brooke Williamson’s ‘Intoxicating Eyes’ After Denying Engagement Speculation

Bobby Flay served up praise for girlfriend Brooke Williamson during a recent Instagram Q&A.
On Thursday, January 22, the Food Network star, 61, fielded questions from fans including one who wanted to know: “If Brooke had a signature dish what would it be?”
“Her intoxicating eyes,” he gushed of the Top Chef alum, 47. “And she can cook almost anything. She doesn’t have one that I’d consider her signature.”
The couple went public with their relationship in March and have been going strong ever since, even sparking engagement speculation in October after Williamson was spotted wearing a diamond ring in Flay’s Instagram Story.
“I gave you a ring as a sign of commitment,” he explained, setting the record straight on the Monday, January 19 episode of his podcast, Bobby on the Beat. “We’re a permanent couple, let’s put it that way.”
Williamson could understand why fans were confused. She had been too.
“I mean, imagine opening like a little blue box with a giant diamond ring inside, and on a park bench on a beautiful day in London, Regent’s Park in the Japanese garden,” she said.
In fact, Williamson’s first words upon seeing the ring were, “What the f**k is this?”
Flay has been married before — three times! — to chef Debra Ponzek, TV host Kate Connelly, with whom he shares daughter Sophie, 29, and Law & Order: SVU alum Stephanie March.
Williamson is divorced as well. She and her ex-husband, Nick Roberts, co-parent their 17-year-old son, Hudson.
“We both don’t want to get married again. It’s okay,” he revealed on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show last November. “It’s great having a life partner.”
That’s why, Flay said, he presented Williamson with the ring: “I wanted to give her something significant to make her feel committed, that’s all.”
