Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Girlfriend Heather Milligan is ‘Frustrated’ He Hasn’t Proposed After 11 Years Together (Exclusive)

Patrick Schwarzenegger said “I do” to Abby Champion and a source tells Globe that the actor is now urging dad Arnold to make it official with his own girlfriend Heather Milligan — who’s been waiting impatiently for a ring for quite some time.

“The whole family loves Heather, she’s a very positive influence on Arnold and held his hand through all his dramas and medical struggles these past few years,” the source explains. “He’s very wary about formalizing their status, but that’s totally at odds with how she feels.”

Even though Heather, 50, is not one to pile on the pressure, the source adds that “it’s common knowledge she’s frustrated Arnie’s been dragging his heels for years now.”

Meanwhile, the White Lotus star, 31, is very happy to see his mom, Maria Shriver, settling down with her partner, political strategist Matthew Dowd, and “he’d love to see his dad do the right thing by Heather, too,” the source says.

“At the end of the day Arnie’s not getting any younger,” adds the source. “He needs the positivity and hands-on support Heather brings to his life, and he’d hate to see her slip through his fingers.”

Arnold, 78, and Heather sparked a romantic connection when she began treating the Terminator star for his shoulder surgery as a physical therapist in 2012. They quietly dated for two years before they made their relationship public when they attended the Environmental Media Awards together in 2014.

Patrick and Abby, 28, first began dating in September 2015, and in February the following year, they hard-launched their relationship on Instagram.

The couple recently wed in a quiet lakeside ceremony in northern Idaho on September 6.
