Whoopi Goldberg is proving that age is just a number when it comes to living one’s best single life.
The View host, 70, shared details about her sex life during the Wednesday, March 18, episode of the daytime talk show while reacting to an article in Cosmopolitan about a woman in a long-term relationship who reveals she “finds herself missing the days of casual flings and bar hopping.”
“I am single,” Goldberg said to cohost Joy Behar. “I bar hop, I go hang. I do hit-and-runs when I need it, but I am not married to anybody. I don’t have responsibilities.”
Sara Haines agreed that the “single life was so lovely.”
“I loved being the center of my own world,” Haines, 48, added. “It’s more about the responsibilities and not the singlehood because singlehood sounds exhausting if you’re looking for someone.”
The Sister Act star — who was married three times between 1973 and 1995 — previously discussed her love of being single in an interview with Interview Magazine.

“They were all great at the time, but in the last 25 years, I recognized that not everybody’s cut out to be in a relationship,” she said during the February profile. “Some people are just cut out to be one-night stands. I don’t want to live with anybody. I lived with my daughter. That’s all I can handle. I have lots of people that I love, but I don’t need them living with me. I don’t need to be sleeping with them.”
“I’m not good at relationships because you have to think about other people, and I have enough to think about with my daughter and her husband and my grandkids and my great-grandkids and all the people at work,” Goldberg added.
