BLOOM BMX, in collaboration with Ride Like a Girl, is hosting Ride Like a Girl WKND, a three-day BMX event aimed at fostering community and empowerment for women and girls in action sports, at Pennsylvania’s Woodward Camp this weekend.

Ride Like a Girl WKND takes place April 18–20, and is open to riders of all ages, experience levels, and bike types — including dirt jumpers. Set in one of the most iconic action sports venues in the world, the event promises an open-ride format across over 400,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor ramps, parks, and trails.

While riders are free to explore the space on their own terms, the weekend also includes signature sessions, yoga classes, and prize giveaways from partnering brands.

The focus of the weekend isnt just about tricks — its about community. Organizers are encouraging a welcoming atmosphere where participants can connect, share skills, and build a network of support in a sport that has historically lacked visibility for women.

BLOOM BMX was co-founded by professional BMX athlete Angie Marino, whose mission to create inclusive platforms has helped advance women’s BMX

The weekend will also feature appearances from other high-profile athletes in the womens BMX scene, including Charlotte Worthington, the British rider who made history by landing the first-ever 360 backflip in Olympic competition on her way to gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Participants will also have a chance to connect and ride with Perris Benegas, a U.S. rider who took home gold at the 2018 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships; and Hannah Roberts, a five-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist, known globally as one of the sports most accomplished competitors.

Whether you’re stepping into the skatepark for the first time or fine-tuning your next competition run, Ride Like a Girl WKND is designed to help riders progress in a welcoming, energetic, and empowering environment.
