Sydney Sweeney might have found herself in legal trouble after participating in a promotional stunt at the famous Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles.
A video obtained by TMZ on Monday, January 26, showed the Anyone But You star, 28, climbing down from the Hollywood Sign by using a string of bras tied together. It’s thought that the stunt might have been to advertise Sweeney’s new clothing line, which features lingerie.

Steve Nissen, president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the intellectual property rights to the image of the Hollywood Sign, told People that the organization “did not grant a license or permission of any kind to the production involving Sydney Sweeney as reported by TMZ, nor did anyone seek a license or permission from the Chamber for that production.”
Nissen added, “Anyone intending to use and/or access the Hollywood Sign for commercial purposes must obtain a license or permission from the Hollywood Chamber to do so.”

TMZ also reached out to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to ask if they would be filing a police report and a representative from the organization noted they “are still investigating how and under what authority (if any) the Sweeney production accessed the site of the Sign.”
The outlet also obtained an email from the Chamber of Commerce and it was made clear that Sweeney did not have permission to film at the site unless she received prior approval.
