As patio season kicks off, Southern Proper Hospitality Group is ushering in spring with a fresh lineup of food and cocktails at its Atlanta-area restaurants, designed to spotlight seasonal ingredients and global flavors.

The groups acclaimed restaurants — ranging from Latin-inspired to coastal Southern — have updated their menus with new offerings that aim to satisfy both adventurous and traditional palates.

At Chido & Padres, the menu takes inspiration from Mexico’s heartland, featuring adventurous dishes like red chile chicken tamales made with house-made masa. Other highlights include vegetable tamales, stuffed chiles rellenos, churro cheesecake, and chocolate flan cake.

Gypsy Kitchen continues its culinary journey through the Mediterranean with seasonal cocktails like the Tiger Lily, made with mezcal, hibiscus, and basil, and the Minted Ember, a bourbon-based drink with pineapple and mint. Small plates include bacon-wrapped dates with goat cheese and a new take on Spanish grilled cheese with Jamón Serrano and garlic aioli.

In the historic district of Crabapple, Miltons Cuisine & Cocktails has expanded its patio for more al fresco dining options. New cocktails like the Garden Haze and The Beekeeper complement dishes such as the spring harvest salad and herb-crusted trout.

Ocean & Acre combines land and sea offerings with dishes like chargrilled oysters Rockefeller and hamachi crudo, while The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill brings a beach vibe to Buckhead with items like rainbow trout and Baja fish tacos.

The Southern Gentleman gastropub offers sophisticated yet unpretentious elegance with cocktails such as the Golden Azalea and Pack of Flutes, alongside dishes like seafood bisque and BBQ smoked pork belly.
