Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun were snapped packing on the PDA in New York City, but a source tells Globe that the photoshoot was orchestrated.
“Everyone is saying the same thing. It’s staged and has Scooter’s fingerprints all over it!” the source says of the photo set.

In one snap, Sydney and businessman Scooter kiss while perched on a rock in Central Park.
Another photo shows the 44-year-old record executive appear to help the Euphoria star, 28, off the rock. A separate shot shows the pair walking hand-in-hand.
The timing seems suspicious since Sydney said in an interview with GQ published just days earlier that she’s single. She was also recently caught meeting up with ex Jonathan Davino after the couple ended their engagement earlier this year.

“After Sydney was pictured with her ex-fiancé and an interview was published where she said she’s single, it’s inevitable Scooter would want to pull a stunt like this,” says the source.
Besides that, the source points out, “Scooter couldn’t keep his mouth shut when he started seeing Sydney. It was like he wanted the whole world to know.”
Reports that Scooter and Sydney were seeing each other surfaced after they were spotted together in Venice, Italy, following Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s star-studded June wedding, which they both attended.

As readers know, insiders have said Sydney is “completely lovestruck” by the romance. Despite that, she downplayed her love status in the interview.
“I don’t think I’m looking for a man right now,” she said when asked if she’s single. “What I’ve learned this year is that I have a really, really amazing group of girlfriends and I am strong and independent and that I’m going to be okay.”
She added: “If love finds me, love finds me. I’m a hopeless romantic, so I hope love finds me, but I’m not the type of person that wants to go out all the time. And I do believe in true love and wanting to be with someone for the rest of my life. So I’m not going to … you won’t see me jumping around a lot of places.”
