Robert F. Kennedy Jr.was recently questioned about one of his strangest stories yet.
The Secretary of Health and Human Services was blindsided by a question posed to him by TMZ on Thursday, April 16, while walking out of a meeting in Washington D.C.
The 72-year-old, dressed in a blue suit and carrying a coffee while flanked by security, passed TMZ cameras when he was asked, “What did you do with the raccoon’s dead penis? Where is it now?”
RFK Jr. burst into laughter, and just as it seemed like he might respond, he let out one final “ha” before walking away.
“I was standing in front of my parked car on I-684 cutting the penis out of a road killed raccoon, thinking about how weird some of my family members have turned out to be,” he penned, according to People, reportedly referring to the grudges that his brother Douglas Kennedy and cousin Bobby Shriver had held. “My kids waited patiently in the car.”
Vincent told People he removed the roadkill’s genitals so he could “study them later.”

It’s unclear whether he ever followed through on that plan. If his reaction is any indication, he’s not offering any updates now.
While the raccoon story is shocking on its own, the politician reportedly has a history of encounters with dead animals. He once told Roseanne Barr he picked up a dead bear on the side of the road in upstate New York so he could skin it and “put the meat in my refrigerator,” according to a video he posted on X.
In another instance, shared by his daughter Kick Kennedy, he used a chainsaw to cut off a whale’s head that washed ashore in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.
“Every time we accelerated on the highway, whale juice would pour into the windows of the car, and it was the rankest thing on the planet,” Kick told Town and Country. “We all had plastic bags over our heads with mouth holes cut out, and people on the highway were giving us the finger, but that was just normal day-to-day stuff for us.”
