Peter Greene, perhaps best known for his roles in Pulp Fiction and The Mask, was found dead in his New York City apartment on December 12.
Two months after his death, New York’s Chief Medical Examiner office announced that the 60-year-old actor died of a “gunshot wound of left axilla with injury of brachial artery.”
According to TMZ, Greene’s death was ruled an “accident.” His body was discovered during a wellness check after neighbors reported hearing Christmas music replaying loudly in his apartment for more than 24 hours.

The late actor’s longtime friend and manager Gregg Edwards confirmed his death to the New York Daily News in December.
“He was a unique individual,” Edward said at the time. “One of the most brilliant character actors on the planet. Had a really good heart. Cared about people. Truly one of the great actors of our generation.”
Edward added, “It’s a shock. He wasn’t that old. In pretty good shape for his age, rode his bike everywhere around New York. He’d had some health issues throughout the last couple years, had always fought through and was very strong.”
