Wedding bells are ringing for Donald Trump Jr. — just apparently not at the White House.
According to a Friday, April 24, report in journalist Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, President Donald Trump’s son — who is engaged to socialite Bettina Anderson — allegedly has no plans to get married at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“Though it would be beautiful, a wedding has not even been discussed at the White House at all,” a White House official told Shuter.
According to one source, “Donald Trump Jr. isn’t important enough to the President — not for something on that level.”
“In his father’s mind, the White House stage is reserved for moments that elevate him and the Trump brand,” the source added. “This doesn’t do either.”
The president’s son, 48, met the socialite, 39, through mutual friends, and they were first linked in August 2024; at the time, the father of five was reportedly still engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle.

On December 15, the 79-year-old president announced at the White House that his son was once again engaged. In a clip shared to X, Don Jr. hugged his father as he addressed those in attendance at the White House to offer a few remarks.
While his engagement was celebrated at the historic presidential residence, the Naughty But Nice report claimed that the businessman’s second marriage (he was previously married to Vanessa Trump, who is now dating Tiger Woods) is just not top priority.
“If it were [Trump’s other children] Ivanka or Barron, it wouldn’t even be a conversation — it would already be in motion,” a source told Shuter. “You’d have planning teams, press strategy, the full spectacle locked in. No hesitation.”
“There’s a definite pecking order in the Trump family — and it’s understood by everyone around the President,” a source added.
“Moments like this don’t just happen,” the source pointed out. “They reveal exactly who gets the spotlight… and who doesn’t.”
