President Donald Trump raised eyebrows with a startling comment about three of his longtime political rivals during an appearance at the White House.
Trump, 80, said he “could’ve done very bad things” to Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack Obama while speaking during an Oval Office event on Wednesday, October 7. According to The Independent, the president had gathered officials and supporters to promote his administration’s new “Trump Accounts” program for children when a reporter asked about Trump’s claim that Democrats would impeach him if they gain control of Congress in November.
“I could’ve done very bad things to Hillary Clinton. I could’ve done very, very bad things to Joe Biden. I could’ve done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama,” Trump said while seated at his desk.

“I thought it was inappropriate to do so because you have to treat the office of the presidency with respect,” he continued. “Then I found out that they impeached me twice and I certainly, to this moment, I can do whatever I want, if I want. They’ve done some very bad things.”
Trump went on to accuse his political opponents of doing “very illegal” things, but did not specify in those remarks what actions he was referring to.
“I view the presidency as a very sacred position, very sacred,” he added.
A clip of Trump’s comments was shared on X, where it quickly drew criticism in the comment section.

One commenter questioned Trump’s characterization of his decision not to pursue his political rivals, writing, “So, he granted them professional courtesy? Like mob bosses, agreeing to work in their own neighborhoods? I guess Justice for All is just a catch phrase now.”
Another blasted Trump’s continued focus on the three Democrats, writing “Obama, Biden, and Clinton have a whole [expletive] luxury penthouse in his demented brain… and haven’t paid a dime in rent since move-in 😭😂[.] His obsession with them is WILD AF!”
One commenter wrote, “So, two days ago he’s talking about Iran taking out two American cities and today he’s saying he can arrest Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack Obama. Where. The. [Expletive]. Is. Congress?!??”
The former reality star was impeached twice during his first term in 2019 and 2021, and was acquitted by the Senate both times.
