Patrick Clancy’s New Wife Rachel Danis Seen for First Time Since Lindsay’s Mistrial

Days after Lindsay Clancy‘s murder trial ended in a mistrial, Rachel Danis, wife of Lindsay’s ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, was photographed out in New York City.

TMZ obtained photos of Danis, 37, on Tuesday, September 8, shopping at a Whole Foods in Midtown Manhattan. The outing marks her first public sighting since Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial in Lindsay’s triple-murder case on Friday, September 4. In the photos, Danis kept the outing casual.

Danis’ solo outing comes just days after she and Patrick, 36, were photographed together in Manhattan shortly before the mistrial, while jurors were still deliberating.

TMZ previously reported that the couple was seen holding hands during that outing.

The sightings come amid an intensely scrutinized period for Patrick and those close to him. Patrick married Danis, a fertility specialist, in April 2026 after filing for divorce from Lindsay, also 36, after the murders.

Despite the grief surrounding his family’s tragedy, Patrick has continued to speak with compassion about his ex-wife, and the marriage marked a new chapter for him.

In a 2023 statement shared by the family’s GoFundMe, Patrick said, “I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have,” making clear that he had personally chosen forgiveness.

Lindsay faced three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the January 2023 killings of the three kids she shared with Patrick: Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months.

Her defense centered on a lack of criminal responsibility with attorneys arguing that postpartum psychosis was to blame for her actions.

After seven days of deliberation, jurors told the court they couldn’t reach a unanimous decision, and Judge Sullivan declared a mistrial.

Prosecutors have yet to say whether they’ll pursue a retrial, leaving Lindsay’s case unresolved as both sides brace for what comes next.

As Globe previously reported, Lindsay’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, has remained vocal since the mistrial, defending his client and offering his perspective on the case.

He has also made rare public comments about the intense scrutiny surrounding Patrick, telling CBS Mornings that Patrick has already “endured” enough and pushing back on the online theories swirling around him.
