Police officers in Arizona helped a 911 caller with a “huge pigeon” she couldn’t get out of her house.

The Glendale Police Department recently released a recording of the 911 call and video of the “hilarious game of chase” that followed.

“It just flew into the, the house and it’s up on the window sill and it’s a good-sized pigeon and I can’t get it down,” the 911 caller says.

Body-worn camera video shows officers arriving at a residence last month to learn the rogue pigeon quickly flew in while the resident opened a back door to attend to her dog.

Once the bird was in, it had plenty of room to get out of reach — the home features a two-story open living area with high ceilings. The bird could be seen perched on a second-story windowsill, several feet away from a nearby banister.

Officers used a long-handled mop and a sheet to try to chase the bird somewhere closer to ground. Eventually, they managed to chase it out the front door.
