Matt Damon revealed that his wife, Luciana Barroso, originally had a crush on his best friend, Ben Affleck.
Barroso, 49, admitted “a few months” into her relationship with her now-husband that she thought Affleck, 53, was “the cute one” in Good Will Hunting.
“I met her best friend from high school, and it came out that the two of them went and saw Good Will Hunting together,” Damon, 55, revealed during the Monday, January 12, episode of The Howard Stern Show.

“Her best friend thought I was the cute one,” he continued. “And [Barroso] thought Ben was the cute one.”
“You got the wrong one,” Damon recalled telling her at the time.
The Instigators star and Barroso met while she was working at a bar in Miami in 2003.

“We definitely had a connection right away, it was so easy to talk to each other, we were very comfortable [with each other], and by the end of the night, he invited me to go out with his friends,” she recalled to Vogue Australia in 2018. “But I was like, ‘I can’t, I have a 4-year-old daughter, I’m not going anywhere.’”
They tied the knot two years later and welcomed three more daughters in the years since.
