Greene, 51, shared via X on Saturday, April, 18 that Corey Comperatore’s family “deserves to know the truth” about suspected shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks. Comperatore was killed during the attempted assassination of Trump while Crooks was killed by a Secret Service Agent shortly after.
“President Trump, of all people, should be leading the charge. Why isn’t he? That’s the question,” she continued.
During the attempt on Trump’s life, a bullet reportedly grazed his ear mid-speech. However, the former reality star, 79, stood his ground, lifting a fist and shouting, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” as Secret Service agents surrounded him in an effort to protect him.
“I’m not calling the Butler assassination a hoax. But there are a lot of questions that deserve public answers,” Greene wrote in a separate message on X the following day. “I’m asking why won’t Trump release the information about Matthew Crooks? Did he actually act alone? If not, who is behind him and who helped him? Why the cover up??”
