Kim Kardashian Gushes Over Daughter North’s Style Amid Tension With Kanye West Over Teen’s Edgy Look

Kim Kardashian has another budding fashionista in her family.

On Monday, September 28, Complex Style posted a TikTok video featuring the reality TV personality, 44, gushing over daughter North West’s fashion choices.

“She teaches me a lot, so she has a really unique style,” Kardashian remarked. “She puts me on to so many brands, like she just loves what she loves, and it’s just really fun to see someone be so creative and also know herself so much.”

The Skims founder noted that she’s proud that North, 12, marches to the beat of her own drum when it comes to her fashion choices.

“All of her friends were getting really girly outfits, and she tried it with me once,” Kardashian revealed. “And she wore something that was really girly, and she was like, ‘Whoa, wait, this isn’t me … I love dressing a little bit more tomboy-ish.’ And she loves her T-shirts and her jerseys and her jorts.”

“She tried it for a good week, to be like, girly or wear what the kids, you know, her friends were wearing,” the Kardashians star continued. “And then she realized quick, like, ‘This isn’t me,’ and I love that for her.”

As Globe previously reported, Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, has been unhappy about some of his daughter’s outfits — including the corset North wore in Rome, Italy, last month.

A source told Globe the rapper thinks the teen is “way too young to be parading around like this,” and warns, “It needs to stop or he’ll raise hell with the lawyers.”
