Kim Kardashian Admits She ‘Raises the Kids Full-Time,’ Hasn’t Heard From Ex Kanye West in ‘Months’

Kim Kardashian is getting candid about her coparenting relationship with ex-husband Kanye West.

On Wednesday, October 15, the 44-year-old Skims founder — who shares children North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with the rapper, 48 — appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and shared insight into their family dynamics.

“I raise the kids, you know, full-time,” she remarked. “They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. And I think, you know, he knows that. I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when, you know, it’s time for that. And it goes in waves and phases, and it’s, you know, a lot of work.”

The reality TV personality also revealed when the “Gold Digger” hitmaker last contacted her and the children.

“It’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him,” she confessed.

However, The Kardashians star explained the kids “always knew” that their dad “had a big life” in terms of travel and touring, and noted “they love their life and their routine and their schedule.”

The businesswoman also addressed the public narrative that she keeps the kids away from the musician.

“Every time he has asked, I will always let them see their father. That’s just who I am,” Kardashian insisted. “If there’s a time where it’s just really super unhealthy, I will, you know, say, ‘Hey, let’s do it here at my house or let’s figure out a different time.'”

“Actually, when he is like that, he doesn’t really want to see the kids a lot,” Kardashian admitted. “So if he’s, like, having a hard time, like, he doesn’t. And so it’s always worked out. He lives in all these different countries, and I send them and you know, to Saudi Arabia, and Italy, and Japan, and all over the world every time he asks. I’ve never once denied it.”
