Khloe Kardashian Details ‘Traumatic’ Moment in Lamar Odom Marriage: ‘What Was the Point?’

Khloe Kardashian just spilled the details of a “traumatic” moment in her marriage to Lamar Odom, revealing that he burned some of her most priceless possessions.

“I used to journal all the time. I haven’t journaled in years. I used to love to journal…I journaled, literally, my life away,” Kardashian, 41, responded to a fan question on the Wednesday, November 19, episode of her Khloé In Wonder Land podcast. “I loved it and everything was in these journals.”

As she explained it, her ex Odom – who has a history of substance abuse issues – was “going through” a difficult time and “incredibly paranoid,” Kardashian said.

“He found these journals that he knew I did all the time and was reading them and just was convinced that I was like, taking notes and sending them to the government or something crazy,” she recalled before revealing that the former NBA star “threw all of them into a fire in front of me.”

The Kardashians star went on to say that she never journaled again after that.

“I remember sobbing, tears streaming down my face,” she continued. “I just felt like, wow, that was taken away in a f**king blink, and what was the point?…I’m not going to start a journal again and have someone destroy it, or I lose it. It’s more, I’m going to say traumatic for me, but I just don’t even want to open that up again.”

Kardashian and Odom were married from 2009 to 2013, after tying the knot just 30 days after meeting. Two years later, Odom fell into a coma after a near-fatal overdose at a Las Vegas brothel. Despite staying by his side throughout his health struggles, Khloe re-filed for divorce in May 2016. Their divorce was finalized that December.
