Songbird Kelly Clarkson has had a serious love drought since kicking ex-hubby Brandon Blackstock to the curb five years ago — and now the talk show queen is looking to let her hair down by enjoying some cocktails and hot hookups with handsome hunks, sources tell GLOBE.

The “Walk Away” singer, 43, filed for divorce in 2020 — and the duo’s bitter court battle continued nearly two years. Sources suggest that since then, Kelly has mainly focused on her children River Rose, 11, and son Remington, 9, whom she shares with Brandon, her former manager.

But an insider confides, “She feels it’s time to put the stress of the court show to the side and focus on herself. She’s devoted to her kids, of course, but she’s got her groove back and is ready for that part of her life for far too long.”

Even as the single mom juggles the duties of her TV work and her kids, sources say she’s ready to make room for romance.

“She’s returning to Las Vegas for her residency, and there will be plenty of downtime to hang out with her friends, knock back the drinks and flirt with some eligible men,” the insider explains. “The kids won’t be there every weekend, so she’ll have time to let loose and share a few laughs with the fellas.”

As GLOBE readers know, the original American Idol champ lost 60 pounds by sticking to a low-carb diet, exercising and taking a doctor-prescribed medication.

“She’s feeling better and sexier than she ever has thanks to her weight loss, and she’s poured money into a new wardrobe with lots of tight-fitting outfits to cut the tags off,” the insider shares.

Kelly recently opened up about her own busy life and the need to get out in the world as a red-hot mom.

“I gotta focus right now. There’s a lot of work, plus my kids’ schedule … I feel it’s busier than mine,” Kelly confessed on recent episode of Today With Jenna & Friends. “I am running from my show to baseball practice.”

But the hitmaker added, “I am trying to adult more.”

Ahead of her Atlantic City shows on Mother’s Day weekend, Kelly said during her appearance on the show that she was looking forward to being “an adult with my band and have some drinks and have an adult meal.”
