Katie Zacharia isn’t giving up on President Donald Trump despite her short-lived stint as White House press secretary, revealing she would happily return to work for the president after losing the high-profile job earlier this month.
The 41-year-old, who lasted just five days in the position before her October 16 departure, made it clear that her loyalty to Trump remains unwavering during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Wednesday, October 28.
“I would love to work for him again in that capacity or another capacity,” Zacharia told host Piers Morgan.
She went on to praise the president, 80, describing him as “the most consequential president in history” and insisting his work would benefit future generations of her family.
Zacharia added that she would “absolutely step up” if asked to serve again, even if the position was less rewarding than her previous White House role.

Her comments come less than two weeks after her turbulent tenure ended abruptly following a widely criticized debut press briefing and mounting questions about her professional credentials.
She also faced scrutiny over her claims of being a lawyer after it emerged, per ABC, that she had not passed the California bar exam and was not licensed to practice law in the United States.
The controversy intensified when Sean Hannity questioned her about her qualifications during an appearance on Fox News, asking why she had not simply explained that she attended law school but never became a practicing attorney.
Per Reuters, Zacharia was out of the position by Friday, October 16, although Trump publicly defended her and suggested that the intense criticism had made the job unnecessarily difficult.
“I told her, ‘I think you’re better off being happy,'” Trump told reporters at the time, explaining that he had advised her to reconsider whether she wanted to remain in the role.

Despite the setback, Zacharia insisted she was proud of her brief time serving the administration and had no intention of abandoning the president.
During her interview with Morgan, the mother of four recalled discussing the difficult week with her children. “I did the best I could with what I had, and I served the president in the capacity I knew how to,” she recalled telling them.
Zacharia said her eldest child had expressed pride in her achievement, while the intense media scrutiny had even brought her family closer together despite their differing political views.
“My very far left mother, who is a Democrat, she could not watch the mainstream media,” she claimed, adding that the experience had strengthened support among relatives who did not necessarily share her admiration for Trump.
