“I can announce on your show that we’ve got all the information we need,” Patel, 46, told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, April 19.
“We’re working with our prosecutors and the Department of Justice under Attorney General Todd Blanche, and we are going to be making arrests,” the former public defender continued. “I promise you, it’s coming.”
However, Bartiromo, 58, clarified that she specifically asked Patel if he had “any information to verify what President Trump says all the time, which is [that] the election was rigged.”
Patel added that they are “folding that into [their] entire conspiracy case” and that he’ll “let the prosecution speak for it.”

“We have the information that backs President Trump’s claim,” he explained. “But because it’s an ongoing prosecution investigation, I can’t get ahead of the DOJ and the president.”
Patel’s claims came just one day before it was revealed that he was suing reporter Sarah Fitzgerald and The Atlantic for her article originally titled “Kash Patel’s Erratic Behavior Could Cost Him His Job.”
As Globe previously reported, the story, whose title has now been edited to “The FBI Director Is MIA,” made claims of excessive drinking which could potentially be a threat to national security. Over two dozen sources were cited in The Atlantic’s piece, with some claiming that Patel’s alleged “alcohol-fueled” nights caused early morning meetings to be rescheduled.

The polarizing political figure filed a lawsuit alleging that the article published on April 17 is a “sweeping, malicious, and defamatory hit piece,” according to NBC News.
The court filing obtained by the news outlet went on to claim that “Director Patel does not drink to excess” at establishments mentioned in The Atlantic’s article “or anywhere else, and this has not, and has never been, a source of concern across the government.”
For their part, The Atlantic isn’t backing down.
The publication gave a statement to Reuters stating, “We stand by our reporting on Kash Patel, and we will vigorously defend The Atlantic and our journalists against this meritless lawsuit.”
