Jennifer Lopez Still Living in $68M Home She Shared With Ben Affleck One Year After Divorce: Report
Jennifer Lopez is still residing in the $68 million Bel-Air estate she once shared with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
On September 11, the Kiss of the Spider Woman actress, 55, posted sultry Instagram photos that appeared to be from inside the mega-mansion’s dressing room, per Daily Mail, raising eyebrows about why she hasn’t moved on from their former marital home.
“Jennifer is staying there because she still owns it so why not?” a source told the outlet in a report published on Thursday, September 11. “Also, her new house in Hidden Hills is undergoing renovations so it would not be comfortable to move in yet.”
The Hidden Hills property, which Lopez reportedly scooped up in March, is a gated 8,600-square-foot mansion that sits on two-acres and boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and luxury amenities including a wet bar, home theater and massage room.
Meanwhile, the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom Bel Air estate, where Lopez is cozily perched, has been on and off the market for over a year since publicly listing it in July 2024.
But, there’s drama: Affleck, 53, is very motivated to sell and wants to lower the price — but Lopez is dragging her feet, sources recently told TMZ.
As Globe readers know, the exes — who officially finalized their divorce in January 2025 — previously slashed the price to $59.5 million, before taking it off the market in May.
Per TMZ’s report, realtors feel that Lopez and Affleck need to drop the price by at least 15 percent if they want to offload it. Another source told the outlet that the exes “overpaid” when they originally purchased the property for $60,850,000 in May 2023.
