Jamie Lynn Spears has reportedly cut ties with her ex-brother-in-law, Kevin Federline, on social media.
The Zoey 101 alum, 34, unfollowed the former backup dancer, 47 — who was famously married to Jamie Lynn’s older sister, Britney Spears, from 2004 to 2007 — and his wife, Victoria Prince, according to Us Weekly as of Wednesday, October 22.
The social media move came following the release of Federline’s bombshell memoir, You Thought You Knew, this week. In the book, Federline — who shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with Britney — published alleged texts between Jamie and Prince, 42, in which the Sweet Magnolias actress vented about the pop star publicly “lashing out” at the kids.
“Honestly, this makes me want to cry because I feel for those boys so much,” Jamie Lynn allegedly wrote in her text per Us Weekly. “I’m her little sister by 10 years, and I can’t imagine what her actual children must feel like at times, but I am familiar with the feeling of being a dingy trying to survive in a wave caused by another’s ship, feeling like you have to rescue yourself. I always wanted her to get better, especially for the boys.”

Federline also claimed in the book that Jamie Lynn sent a second text message thanking him and Prince for taking care of the boys.
“I don’t think there’s enough money or material things in the world that would be enough to repay y’all [Federline and Prince] for doing what she [Britney] couldn’t be bothered to do as a parent,” she allegedly wrote, according to Us Weekly. “And I’m sure my sister has never thanked y’all for raising her children.”
In response to Federline’s claims in the book, a representative for Spears shared a statement with People.
“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” the statement read. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir [The Woman in Me].”
