Tiger Woods is back in the spotlight following his recent car crash and DUI arrest in Florida, and now, a new report is offering insight into how girlfriend Vanessa Trump is handling life behind the scenes.
“She has her hands full sometimes, but Vanessa also has a life of her own and children to care for so she isn’t around it all the time,” a source told People in an article published on Sunday, March 29. “She is happy with him and any issues they have are not about her. It’s dealing with his frustrations about playing great golf and his pain that at some times is really confining.”
However, the source said that the Masters champ, 50, and Vanessa, 48, “are in love.”
“She is very supportive of his golf endeavors because despite his age and injuries, golf dominates Tiger’s life,” the source explained. “They are good together as they both have golf in their lives. That propels the romance in a certain sense.”

Vanessa’s daughter, Kai, 18, and Chloe, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Donald Trump, Jr., also play golf. Charlie, 17, Woods’ son with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, plays the sport as well.
The source added that Woods can be “difficult to be around” due to lingering pain from his injuries over the years – including a ruptured Achilles tendon in March 2025 and his seventh back surgery that October – but noted that Vanessa remains “happy” in their relationship.
While the source said it’s “doubtful” Vanessa would “support” Woods’ return to the Masters this year, they added that she “does all she can,” even if “some of it is out of her hands.”
“They are an intense couple,” a separate source told the publication. “It’s serious but Tiger has yet to look in the mirror and say, ‘You’re 50 years old and need to act like it.’ ”

As Globe previously reported, Woods was arrested for a DUI on March 27 following a car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida.
According to law enforcement, Woods blew a 0.0 on a breathalyzer test but refused a urine sample during his arrest. According to TMZ, officials said he was cooperative and within his rights to decline, with the sheriff later noting that the incident appeared to involve medication, not alcohol.
