Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston didn’t let Hollywood keep them from forming a lasting friendship!
Both actresses came from a time in Tinseltown when “no one wanted the ladies to be friends,” Bullock, 61, said in a Vanity Fair interview published on Monday, August 11. “It was about pitting everyone against each other.”
The Blindside star further claimed that women in the industry were told they weren’t supposed to “respect and honor each other” as colleagues.
But Hollywood couldn’t keep them apart forever! Years after they both made names for themselves in showbiz, the Friends alum, 56, and the Miss Congeniality actress connected at a mutual pal’s wedding in 2010 and have been going strong ever since.
“We were just like, ‘Oh my God, we need to meet and cut loose!’ And we did,” Bullock revealed.

Fondly reminiscing on some of Aniston’s finer qualities, Bullock said her “superpower” is that she’s “incredibly open” with others.
“Nothing is for her alone ever,” she continued. “Everything she does is for everyone else included.”
Over the years, the pair has also bonded over their fear of flying.
“The two of us on a plane — it’s the most pathetic thing to look at,” the Proposal star joked of her and Aniston. “Usually it’s us grabbing each other’s arms from across the table with our heads down.”
