Playing basketball was a slam-dunk for superstar Michael Jordan, but the retired jock’s attempt to make bucks by investing some of his $3.5 billion in NASCAR auto racing has him at the foul line.

Mike currently co-owns 23XI Racing with driving icon Denny Hamlin and the pair are battling NASCAR bigwigs, who control the number of teams and races run by the organization and make the rules racing teams must follow.

After refusing to sign an agreement to follow NASCAR’s restrictions, Mike and his pard slammed the group with an anti-trust lawsuit, calling the group “monopolistic bullies.”

The 61-year-old former Chicago Bulls baller says “we brought this antitrust case so that racing can thrive and become a more competitive and fair sport in ways that will benefit teams, drivers, sponsors, and, most importantly, fans.” He forgot to mention benefiting his wallet, too.
