Amit, 51, shared the video to social media on February 4. She died in a Philippines hospital on February 6.

Barangay Chief Laddy Gemang reported that another man, a friend of Amit, also consumed the “devil crab.”
That man’s mouth “seemed to go numb,” Gemang said, adding that he “didn’t eat again.” Tragically, Amit’s friend also died.
The shells of seven “devil crab” were later found in Amit’s trash, ABC-CBN reported.
“Be careful not to eat this devil crab because it is deadly. It is very dangerous to eat this type of crab because it can kill you in a matter of hours,” Gemang warned.
