Elizabeth Hurley’s Son Damian Sets the Record Straight on How He Really Feels About Billy Ray Cyrus

Elizabeth Hurley’s son Damian has nothing but love for his mom’s boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus. 

On Wednesday, November 19, the model, 23, took to his Instagram Story to clear up the recent rumors that he and the country singer, 64, were at odds.

“I’ve been in the public eye since the day 1 was born and rarely comment on anything written about me or my family, but recent stories are so startlingly untrue that I want to offer a little clarity,” Damian penned per TMZ.

“For the record I adore @billyraycyrus and I think he’s one of the sweetest men I’ve ever met,” Damian insisted. “I love seeing my mom so happy. Billy’s kids are also adorable and everyone gets along beautifully; any claims to the contrary are yawn inducing and tediously untrue.”

Additionally, Damian noted he has a “modern family” and said he feels “blessed everyday to be surrounded by so much love and support.”

“I’m grateful for the truth we live, despite the stories others try to write for us,” he added.

The “Achy Break Heart” hitmaker and the Gossip Girl alum, 60, went Instagram official with their relationship in April.

The following month, Hurley gushed over the two-time Grammy Award winner, telling Entertainment Tonight, “Billy’s a very fabulous person. He’s a very gentle man, very nice, and I’m very happy.”

Additionally, a source told Globe in October that Cyrus “says he’s found his soulmate” in Hurley.
