Superman star David Corenswet and actress wife Julia Best Warner are heading faster than a speeding bullet away from Hollywood — with sources saying the pair is ditching the glitz to make a home for their infant girl in their native Pennsylvania.
Sources say the 32-year-old star of the super blockbuster, and the family-oriented actress, who appeared in Netflix’s Ratched series, are shunning superficial Tinseltown so their baby can grow up in a more grounded atmosphere like the one they experienced as kids.
“David knows it makes sense for him to be in the center of the filmmaking world, but he doesn’t like the values of Hollywood and thinks it’s even a dangerous place for them to raise a family,” an insider says. “They don’t want their daughter exposed to local crime and overzealous fans.”

The Man of Steel and his lovebird were brought up in Pennsylvania by tight-knit families with conservative values.
“David lived in Philadelphia in a close Jewish family, while Julia grew up in nearby Villanova in a Catholic home with similar sensibilities,” says a family friend. “They want their children raised in the same way.”
The sweethearts got hitched in an interfaith ceremony with a rabbi and a priest in New Orleans in March 2023, and wedding planner Julie Vanderbrookreveals that David and Julia were “determined to intersperse the Jewish traditions with the Catholic traditions, which to me just enhanced the beauty and the strength of both faiths.”
The insider says their families are welcoming the couple back to Philadelphia with open arms and are fully involved in the childcare of their daughter.

Meanwhile, the actors will fly back and forth from Philly to L.A. for work, and that’s a heavy load to carry — even for Superman.
“They both have careers, but they’re willing to make the sacrifice to fly cross country when they need to come to the West Coast for work,” the insider says.
“They know their daughter and any future kids will be in a positive environment and surrounded by plenty of caring family members.”
