On Wednesday, March 26, all 81 Chicagoland Jersey Mikes Subs locations will donate 100% of sales to Cals Angels, a non-profit dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families.

The fundraiser marks the culmination of Jersey Mikes 15th annual Month of Giving campaign, a nationwide initiative benefiting local charities. Throughout March, customers can contribute by rounding up their purchases or donating $1, $3, or $5 at checkout. On the Day of Giving, every dollar spent — whether in-store, online, or through the Jersey Mikes app — will directly support Cals Angels’ mission of granting wishes, funding research, and raising awareness for pediatric cancer.

Additionally, Jersey Mikes corporate offices have pledged to match up to $1 million in donations raised.

“I would like to extend a personal invitation to visit Jersey Mikes throughout March, and especially on Day of Giving when 100 percent of sales — every penny — goes to help a great local cause,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mikes founder and CEO, who started the company at just 17 years old.

Since launching Month of Giving in 2011, Jersey Mikes has raised over $113 million for charities across the country.

“Having such a prominent partner in the community helps us spread awareness about pediatric cancer, and each dollar raised will truly make a difference in finding a cure,” said Cals Angels Co-Founder and President Stacey Wahlberg. “The generosity of the entire Jersey Mikes organization is overwhelming and we are very thankful.”

Founded in 2007 in memory of 12-year-old Cal Sutter, Cals Angels has raised over $27 million, providing support to families and funding pediatric cancer research. The organization remains committed to granting wishes, advocating for awareness, and investing in lifesaving treatments.

“We hope everyone will come out and enjoy their favorite Jersey Mikes sandwich on March 26,” said local Jersey Mikes franchise owner Jim Shipman. “It will not only fill your belly but fill your heart to give back to Cals Angels, our favorite local charity making a huge difference in Chicagoland.”
