Boy Reunited With Puppy ‘Tater’ After Pug Rescued From Well In Ohio
An Ohio boy and his puppy were reunited on Monday after firefighters rescued the dog from a well.
The Champion Township Fire Department said crews responded to a report that a dog fell down a well next to a residence after the well’s cover had fallen in.
The 6-month-old pug, named Tater, fell some seven feet down into the well, firefighters said. They retrieved the dog with no injuries.
Firefighters said that after being rescued, Tater was “given to his best friend who was anxiously waiting.” Photos shared by the fire department show a young boy happily holding Tater alongside rescuers.
