John Christian Love, best known for his role as Ernesto in the Breaking Bad spinoff series, Better Call Saul, took to Reddit last month to share a major career update, according to Page Six.
“Hey it’s me John Christian Love,” he began in his February 14 post, alongside a selfie from inside an Amazon delivery truck. “Just want yall to know that as the actor who brought you the character ‘Ernesto/Ernie’ in Better Call Saul, that I too am out here delivering with you!”
Love added, per the outlet, “It sucks. But 1 delivery at a time. Be blessed out there!”
Despite his apparent career change, Love, 35, told one Redditor that he hasn’t “given up” on acting quite yet.
“[It’s] just really slow right now,” he responded after a fan asked whether the AMC series was “enough to continue acting,” adding: “[Better Call Saul] wasn’t the breakout I was hoping.”

According to Love, he later reunited with Better Call Saul star Bryan Cranston on another project. However, that film reportedly “ran out of money and I was never paid,” he explained.
While Love didn’t reveal the name of the unfinished film, Deadline reported in July that the Malcolm in the Middle alum refused to return to work on his film Lone Wolf until his costars were properly paid.
“I (and I think I speak for Lily [Gladstone] as well) will not do anything to promote the film until every cast and crew member is paid back in full, and we will not appear on screen again (ie return to filming) for this movie until that happens,” Cranston told the outlet.
