Todd Bridges recently talked about a surprising sexual encounter he had with his late Diff’rent Strokes costar Dana Plato that occurred when they were just kids.
In the second episode of season two of the docuseries Hollywood Demons, Bridges, 60 revealed that the teen idol initiated oral sex with him, while on set of the hit sitcom, which ran from from 1978 to 1986.
“At 12 years old, I was sleeping one time in the room on the set, and all of a sudden somebody zipped my pants down and started giving me a b job, and it was Dana!” Bridges recalled. “How would a 12-year-old girl know about that? The only way that you’re going to do that to someone else is if you have experienced that yourself.”

“Dana was wild. My first experience with everything was with Dana,” Bridges further confessed. “My first threesome was with Dana. My first foursome was with Dana. Our first fivesome was Dana. It was all Dana.”
The Everybody Hates Chris alum said that Plato — who passed away in 1999 from a drug overdose — “could never just tell us what was really going on in her head.”
In the episode, Drew Pinsky, known as “Dr. Drew,” gave some analysis of Plato’s behavior, inferring she might have had some sort of “sex addiction.”

“You have to wonder when young adolescents or children engage in sexual acts that maybe they shouldn’t have understood, can be even in the repertoire of sexual behaviors, you have to wonder if there’d been some sexual abuse prior,” Dr. Drew, 67, stated.
As a tween, Plato was made to wear a bikini on TV and was overly sexualized. “At a young age, that sort of objectification teaches her that’s her worth, her body, her sexuality. It’s a bad message for young women,” Dr. Drew noted. “And that can impact behavior behind closed doors.”
