Elisabeth Hasselbeck is returning to her television roots.

The conservative commentator and former The View co-host, 49, is set to guest-cohost CBS Mornings for three days next week, per a Thursday, June 11 report from Entertainment Weekly.

According to the outlet, Hasselbeck will appear on the morning program Monday through Wednesday, with her segments airing during the 8 a.m. hour. Rather than tackling hard news or political commentary, she’ll be weighing in on lighter fare — including the Talk of the Table and What to Watch segments, as well as topics centered on parenting, pop culture and entertainment, per the report.

The CBS booking is a return to the network where Hasselbeck first made her name — long before she became a fixture on ABC’s The View from 2003 to 2013. She got her start at CBS as a contestant on the second season of the reality competition series Survivor before crossing over to the ABC talk show. After departing The View, she went on to co-host Fox & Friends.

The guest spot comes at a turbulent time for CBS. As Globe previously reported, the network has been navigating significant internal controversy surrounding CBS News head Bari Weiss and her approach to broadcast coverage, including her stewardship of the newsmagazine program 60 Minutes.

Hasselbeck’s relationship with ABC’s The View has been anything but quiet in recent years. Earlier in 2026, she returned to the Hot Topics table as a guest co-host, filling in for panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin during maternity leave. The stint generated headlines after Hasselbeck clashed with cohost Sunny Hostin on-air over support for President Donald Trump — a moment Hasselbeck later described as making her feel “alive.”

Of course, no look at Hasselbeck’s View legacy would be complete without a nod to her legendary 2007 on-air confrontation with then-moderator Rosie O’Donnell. The two clashed over issues related to the war in Iraq in a fight so heated that producers cut to a split-screen format, showing both women simultaneously as they shouted over one another. The moment ultimately contributed to O’Donnell’s first departure from the program. O’Donnell would later return to The View in 2014, only to depart again after a single season in 2015.
