‘Sopranos’ Alum Joe Pantoliano Eyeing Move Outside the U.S. Amid ‘Uncomfortable’ State of Country
Joe Pantoliano played tough gangsters in TV’s The Sopranos and the flick Risky Business, but he says with the meanness in President Donald Trump‘s policies, “I just want to run for the hills … I’m just so uncomfortable with the nature of what’s happening in our country.”
The turmoil makes it difficult for him to work, he insists, adding: “It’s hard for me to think about people’s bulls**t like making a TV show. The world is on fire, it’s hard for me to concentrate.”
So the 73-year-old Matrix actor and his wife, Nancy Sheppard, plan to pack up and move to Portugal. Meanwhile, fearing trouble here, the actor says: “I keep a lot of cash at home … enough to get me going for a couple of weeks … it’s buried and there’s no map.”
