Robert Irwin Honors Dad Steve By Wearing ‘Crikey!’ Tee During ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Rehearsals
Robert Irwin found the perfect way to honor his dad while heading into Dancing With the Stars semi-final rehearsals on Wednesday, November 12.
The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist and fan favorite showed up to the studio wearing a tan “Crikey!” T-shirt, in honor of the upcoming Steve Irwin Day — an annual event that celebrates the life and legacy of his late father, Steve Irwin.
Robert kept things casual and practical for the long rehearsal day ahead by pairing the tee with matching tan athletic shorts and white sneakers. He was also spotted carrying a rolled black yoga mat under one arm and a white tote bag printed with a tiger in the other.
At one point, he threw up a playful claw pose with a big grin, proving he’s still as upbeat as ever despite the pressure of semi-final week.
Growing up at the Australia Zoo and carving out his own career in conservation and TV, Robert has quickly emerged as one of this season’s breakout stars.
