Patrick Clancy made a rare public appearance Wednesday, September 2, looking relaxed as he walked through Manhattan with his current wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, while the jury remains deadlocked in the Massachusetts trial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy.
Fox News shared photos of Patrick and Rachel in New York City, in which they appeared relaxed as they walked together. The outing came on the sixth day of jury deliberations in Lindsay’s murder trial.
Lindsay faces three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of the three children she shared with Patrick. She does not dispute that she killed Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan at the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023.
Patrick has built a new life in New York since the January 2023 tragedy. He has since remarried Rachel and worked with relatives to help establish the Heard Foundation, which honors Cora, Dawson and Callan.

Days after the tragedy, Patrick publicly forgave Lindsay and asked others to do the same. “I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have,” he wrote on a GoFundMe page.

Patrick also took the witness stand during Lindsay’s trial in July, testifying about her mental health struggles in the months leading up to the children’s deaths.
Her defense maintains that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time.
The judge has instructed jurors to continue trying to reach a unanimous decision. If the panel ultimately says it cannot agree, the case could end in a mistrial. As of now, no verdict has been reached.
