Kris Jenner Tells Kim Kardashian to ‘Stop Moping’ Amid Her Dating Slump: ‘Bad For the Brand’ (Exclusive)

Kim Kardashian may be single, but she’s not ready to mingle, much to momager Kris Jenner‘s dismay.

“She’s advised Kim that it’s no good sitting around feeling sorry for herself,” a source tells Globe. “What’s happened in the past is out of her control and she’s got to stop moping because it’s bad for her self esteem as well as the brand.”

The love lives and the heartbreaks of the Kardashian-Jenners are often major storylines on their hit Hulu show.

“There’s no question Kim and the family as a whole benefit from her being in a relationship,” says the source, noting that all the drama between then-boyfriend Pete Davidson and ex-husband Kanye West made for “endless hours of dramatic footage” that Jenner, 70, “gleefully wove” into the series.

“[Pete] was such a great man that was like, ‘I got this, don’t worry, it’s all good,’ or at least acted that way,” Kardashian revealed on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast of 32-year-old comedian’s reaction to being depicted buried alive in the rapper’s 2022 “Eazy” music video. “It must suck to be put in that position.”

Not everyone would’ve been so understanding.

“There [have] been situations where I’ll get close to someone, then it’s like, ‘Wait, wait, wait, wait, I don’t really want to deal with your ex,’” the single mother of four — who shares daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 7, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6, with West — admitted elsewhere in the episode.

“At this point, Kim is very down on herself,” says Globe’s source. “She’s saying it’s pointless to trust her heart again because it never seems to work out.”
