Kim Kardashian and her family are bracing themselves for Kanye West’s controversial comeback.
Per the Wall Street Journal, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper, 48, signed a seven-figure record deal with Gamma and his new album, Bully, is set to be released on Friday, March 20.
“It’s alarming for Kim that Kanye has landed a major deal when he’s so angry and volatile,” a source tells Globe. Despite his apology tour — in which he attributed his offensive remarks and disturbing behavior to health issues — “he’s still a very vindictive man,” says the source. “Kim and her family don’t trust him for one second.”
Especially since West has been “threatening to expose” the Kardashians “for years,” notes the source. “He’s never fully made good on that, although he has said some horrible lies … but that doesn’t mean he won’t pull the trigger this time. It’s haunting and keeps Kim up at night.”

The timing could not be worse, either.
“Kim is finally dating someone that she really likes and she doesn’t want to hide it,” the source says of the reality TV star’s rumored romance with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.
“Kanye was very triggered by the pictures of her and Lewis at [the] Superbowl,” reveals the source. “He’s been lashing out privately and trying to antagonize her.”
As Globepreviously reported, West has made it his mission to scare off every guy that shows interest in dating his ex-wife, 45, with whom he shares daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6.
“The even bigger anguish is that he could drag their babies into this at any moment,” adds the source. “He’s so totally unhinged when it comes to what he will say.”
