On Sunday, March 8, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump posted a YouTube video titled “I Brought My Secret Service to Erewhon,” where she went shopping at the upscale California grocery chain.
While in the store, Kai, 18 — whose parents are Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump — joked she was “about to go bankrupt with this stuff,” laughing, “I’m going to need to file for bankruptcy.”
As she was leaving, police cleared the way for the Secret Service, and she got into a black SUV.
Back in her hotel room, the golfer gave a haul of all the items she purchased, including a branded water bottle, the infamous Hailey Bieber smoothie, vitamins/supplements, dates, lavender lemonade and hyper oxygenated water, which, after trying, she confessed, “I feel like I just got ripped off.”

Kai also bought pre-made sushi, and after eating a piece, she ran off camera, presumably to spit it out, and declared, “That’s the worst tuna I’ve ever tasted in my entire life,” noting it was “fishy” and “hard” and admitting it was “such a waste.”
As for the hot bar items, Kai got the buffalo cauliflower, brown rice balls, and short rib.
“Is this worth $37? No,” she stated. “I could probably make all this at home for, like, under $10.”
In total, Kai spent $233, which she said was “crazy.”
“Like and subscribe, please,” she told fans at the end of the video. “I need to make back my money somehow.”

Viewers took to the comment section, slamming Kai for the video.
“What lacking situational awareness looks like in real time,” one person wrote.
“Meanwhile the world suffers,” a second chimed in. “These people have zero shame.”
“It’s giving ‘let them eat cake,'” a third added.
“Filing bankruptcy must run in the family!” a fourth pointed out, seemingly referring to how the 79-year-old commander-in-chief’s businesses have declared bankruptcy in the past.
At the time of publication, Kai’s video had over 400,000 views and more than 10,000 comments.
